I still see it as a desperate attempt to cover up economic collapse.
I spent most of my life since at least the nineties wondering how "they" would handle economic collapse.
War is a traditional choice, but the population was increasingly unfit and unwilling to wage the kind of war that covers economic desperation and kills off demanding populations.
They imagined disease could be controlled.
Drug companies were feeling the pinch, so they were happy to rob the treasury under the guise of a pandemic.
Once the politicians committed, they would go all the way to the end because to stop would be to admit to taking part in genocide.
To admit to ruining countless businesses, livelihoods, and lives.
Their desperation has begun to stink.
The cover up is worse than the crime.
In this case: Covid up.

In the real world the only the sick go to the hospital no matter what. The healthy need not suffer. This is ominous creepy tyrannical shit happening now with witless citizens compliant and complacent in the face of losing hard fought for human rights across the board. Just like a bleating freaking sheep.
