I always thought that the reasons the intelligence agencies funded overseas terrorists was somewhere between controlled opposition and money laundering.

Lately it's starting to look like the long game on funding third world terrorists to attack America was to build up the logistics to treat Americans like terrorists.

Which means that America is under attack, from within, or infiltration, for at least three decades, and surely it is longer.
