Pinned! Yeah, they all use medscape at my job when they’re writing orders. It’s basically their primary resource for prescribing meds. Nurse practitioners rely on it too. They have special access to certain features on there that we don’t. You’ll find a lot of important useful stuff on there.

I also had a really severe reaction to my 1st Moderna dose at the end of December 2020. Very similar to what others on the forum have experienced lots of neurological symptoms. Specifically dysthesia's and parathesia's all over my body.

I went to the ER twice in January and was admitted to rule out GBS syndrome however never developed weakness and just mainly experienced sensory issues and extreme pain at the base of my spine.

I eventually was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy secondary to a vaccine reaction after seeing a neurologist.

I am completely recovered now and it took about 10 weeks to start turning the corner on symptoms.

My question for all of you is has anyone gotten their second shot of either the same product or another version of the vaccine? If so, how did it go?

With Delta becoming so prevalent I am very concerned only being partially vaccinated. I have done a lot of homework on this subject and have found that two scenario's are probably to blame. 1. Hypersensitivity to PEG or 2. A reaction to the spike protein itself. The latter is especially concerning for all of us as it presents us with a scary situation should we become infected with COVID-19. We have all had reactions to a metered dose of spike protein. An uncontrolled release of spike protein would likely mean the same severe symptoms only worse.
