My air conditioner took a crap. It’s 87 degrees in my house. Probably won’t get any service until Monday at least and we probably need an entire unit. Just hoping for no “supply” issues at this point.

My 11 year old daughter is vomiting with no fever, just a headache so my husband had to call off work and miss his entire next trip.......as much as we think covid is bullshit....it’s just the right thing to do.

2. It's probably a run-capacitor in the AC. As a man, I fix my own stuff and fixed my own AC last summer when it crapped out. Didn't need to call anyone.

Husband fixes AC. Husband goes on trip. You stay home and be a wife & mother.

Instead, these days, it's "husband can't fix anything, let's pay someone else to do it. Husband needs to be a simp and take care of the kid while I do what I want."

Ha haa goddamn, this comment is so ridiculous it's funny, but at the same time the internet has turned people into such assholes, like you know every detail of this person's situation, goddamn ha haa.

I once worked in an office full of women. I worked an odd shift so the office was usually open for several hours before I arrived. I came in one morning to several complaints that the whole office was way too hot. I took a look at the thermostats and felt the air coming out and pretty quickly came to the conclusion that 2 of the 4 units obviously weren't running or otherwise weren't cooling at all.

So, I call the AC guy who went on the roof and found a cooked electrical box (we had thunderstorms the night before.) Changed it out and back in business in like 30 mins.

At the weekly meeting I asked why nobody called the AC guy. Everyone looked at each other and then the HR manager blurts out "we're women! We don't know about that stuff!"

My job wasn't anything close to HVAC or building services, either.

I think alot of people have resigned to a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year drinking party. The way the shitter has overflown it's the only way to stay sane!
