I have been telling people they aren't going to let the kids just go back to school like everyone thinks.

No, they are not. This is the "post-pandemic" era. And all liberties are subject to re-examination it seems.

I wonder how parents feel about allowing their children to be tested by strangers every week?

What if people refuse?

I think a LOT will refuse and people will pull out their kids.

Plus the news out here is full covid fear porn 24/7. They actually find people in hospitals and ask them if they wished they had gotten the vaccine...

Really sick news out here. Scares the hell out of people.

Plus there are dystopian banners everywhere that say things like:

LAUSD school board fires hundreds of unvaccinated employees
Nearly 500 Los Angeles Unified school employees were fired Tuesday, Dec. 7, for refusing to comply with a district mandate that they get their COVID-19 vaccine shots.

The school board voted 7-0 in separate motions to terminate the workers, of whom most, if not all, presumably had been on leave since mid-October when LAUSD staffers were to have received at least their first vaccine dose. Employees were required to receive their second dose by Nov. 15.

Reports from various LAUSD employees from online forums, etc, who were not vaccinated, have complained that they were being harassed by other employees before being suspeced. Adminstration at these schools was aware of the harassment and was turning a blind eye to the incidents. Also, the suspended employees were already fired before the vote every took place and the talks were just a white wash. This was evident to everyone who was suspended because their jobs were immediately given to mysterious replacements. In most cases, these mystery replacements were friends or family memebers of vaccinated employees.
