Very nice OP. I am kind of thinking along the same lines. I wonder if they are initiating and harvesting fear on a massive scale ... for some reason.

I have been spending my time trying to get back to a very very low and stable base line of existence. A mundane life some would call it. Letting go of attachments and striving for ground zero.

Re: Manage your emotions.
We are being bombarded with so much chaos that seems to have gone into overdrive, especially within the past few weeks.

I've become acutely aware that we are less prepared than we originally thought. Sure, we can stack all the preps to the rafters. Sure, we can learn to garden and forage. These are the obvious things we've learned over time and they are important. Necessary, too.

But one thing we tend to overlook is our emotions. In all situations, no matter how safe or dangerous, if we don't have our wits about us, if we cannot maintain a continuous sense of calm, rational thinking becomes burdensome and (in some cases) impossible.

If we are fearful, we are more easily manipulated. I apologize in advance, but if any of you told me you weren't frightened in the least at the moment, I wouldn't believe you. I'm scared. I'm horrified. It's wired into us by our creator to want to preserve our lives and as much comfort as possible. It is what motivates us to grow. It keeps us from dying out as a species.

The conclusion I've come to is that instead of trying to ignore the fear, we need to come to terms with it before we can overcome it and resume the rational thought that will keep us going. We must learn to walk with darkness instead of shy away from it. Become friends with Death itself. Not in a teenage emo way, but in a very mature and practical way. Learn to that death is unavoidable and learn what that means for you.

Most importantly, do whatever work on your soul that is required of you according to your own understanding of G-d.

Don't let the evil of this world drown you. You were meant for great things. You wouldn't be here otherwise. Realize that and begin whatever spiritual work you require. We are at that point.

Notice that the scamdemic scare campaign is ALL appeal to emotions - from fear of death to you're a murderer if you refuse to self euthanize. Rational thought does not exist on the left and we must reject all appeals to emotion when the propagandists come selling their bullshit.

You are right about being scared. They're trying to kill us and destroy our society and economy, too. More than ever, we need to constantly assess the situation in order to deal with these psychopaths. That requires setting aside the emotions and mental clarity.
In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined:

With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world,
And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world
And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator.

I just want to say thank you--hopefully you are reading this and will see this. I never really thought about the angle you approach this with. Yes I am prepared. If the world shut down I am good to go for about a year. I'm a good little Mormon.

But the emotions?? You are right.

Because I am pissed. I'm enraged. I'm DONE!! I am APPALLED how so many Americans are so unbelievably STUPID that they can't see past their televisions that are telling them OVER AND OVER AND OVER to be scared. Its NAUSEATING.

And all of this "rage" I feel--I literally don't know what the FUCK to do with it.

I just LOOK at people now with SUCH disdain that wear masks in their cars and out walking....hell, I played tennis last night at a park in my neighborhood. It was 85 degrees. And this dumbass brought his 7 year old son to play tennis one court over--WEARING MASKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally wanted to walk over just grab him by the shirt and say "WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I agree with everything you laid out in your post Only Me. As you said the last few weeks it's felt like my head is spinning. Sure things have been chaotic in the past but this is something else entirely. I'm pretty young (26) and feel that fear you spoke of deeply. Our country isn't dying, it's being killed, and I feel helpless to stop it.
