I have come to find how amazing life is without a woman. I had a very difficult time in my marriage and when she ended up choosing to go “visit family and friends” in another country and I couldn't make the trip with her because of my business (you know, the thing that made us money to live by). She decided she had had enough and ended up spending her time there with another man and cheating on me.

A lot happened after that, far more drama than I care to bore you with. Suffice it to say she eventually told me and it broke me. Hard. It took years for me to finally let go of the pain and loss of love. The emptiness. Those were some of my darkest days as I had built my life around her. She was my everything and I did all I could to make her smile… it eventually became impossible to make her smile no matter how I tried.

She left me and divorced me.

Years after I finally found peace. I have watched all of my male and female friends go through the same shit in that time. One day I decided I no longer want to even try and have a relationship again. I found other things to do, have so much more money, less superfluous stuff, travel more and am enjoying life so much more such that when a woman flirts with me I smile and walk away.

In this day and age, sadly, life is better alone. You may THINK that your significant other will never leave you or cheat on you. But you are wrong. All it takes is the right set of occurrences, and those right “sets” are very, very common given the media and propoganda of this age.

Life is awesome alone.
