Has anyone lived 'this small' before? Her Bohemian Camper Van - Tiny House Living At 58 Years Young

My mom and I, two dogs and a cat, lived in a Chevy van for about 4 or 5 months in 1975. We were traveling and moving from the east coast to the west coast. I was 15 and it was a grand adventure! Our van was set up with a bed and storage shelves. Cooking all done outside. Used KOA campgrounds for showers and laundry.

When you think about it, you really don't need that much space to move about. I've lived in big houses, most of the rooms were dust collectors.

When I'm in the house, I'm usually sitting in one of two places, otherwise I'm outside.

The only thing worrisome about this lifestyle is security. She needs to be careful where she parks. But it sounds like she has a lot of money and friends, so I'm sure she's not "slumming it".

That’s the trick with tiny home living - you’ve got to be an outdoor person and your van or tiny home needs to be somewhere where you can live mostly outside.

My home is 12’x15’ with a 20’x15’ covered porch. Inside is for changing clothes, sleeping and storage. Kitchen and everything else is outside on the porch. Home gym is on a 10’x10’ platform in the yard with a tarp roof. Even our shower and laundry area is all outside. In fact, I’m out sitting under a plumeria tree right now.

So like, where does she sh*t? Or shower?
