Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72530568 She was taking performance enhancing drugs, but in Japan they won't let her and she failed miserably - so she quit before her sponsors pulled the plug on her free money. Pretty sure they test sportspeople for that stuff, no one would take it during an international competition. |

But then she got the covid vax. She turned to mush and is now a less than worthless deranged twisted freak show. It is clear the vaccines have given her brain damage, extreme anxiety, and also reduced her IQ from about 60 down to about 30. Damn those vaccines. |

The situation led the then-19-year-old star to publicly address her ADHD diagnosis and say ADHD is frequently comorbid with anxiety disorders. It would explain her inability to handle the pressure of the Olympics. Anxiety disorders and Olympic level competition are not exactly a great match. You have to be able to withstand tremendous stress and pressure and be able to compete at your best ability even with that pressure. |

Quoting: SomeoneSpecific She said her body and mind are not in sync. Supposedly her brain glitches and can't get the body to do what it commands. MSM is calling the phenomenon "twisties" and trying to pass it off as something common that athletes or gymnasts have all the time. Looks like a newly-coined term, and I'm not buying that it used to be a phenomenon with athletes. Now local MSM is saying "you can have it too". Sounds like grooming for vax side effect. She withdrew from competition for a medal in two of the four apparatus; the remaining two are balance beam and floor exercise. Whatever the cause may be—Vax reaction, Ritalin withdrawal, emotional distress, “twisties”—she was right to pull out of competition if she felt unsafe. Gymnasts know and fear the “twisties”, although it’s a new term to the viewing public. Simone was not herself even during the Olympic trials. There was speculation that she was distressed over her brother’s acquittal from a murder charge because many people believed he was guilty. The vault she started the Olympics with was bizarre and dangerous: it started out as one type of vault and ended as another, and she landed badly. |

User ID: 80193276 United States 07/31/2021 07:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The vax did a number on her. The crazy flippy leaps she does could get her killed if her body is not in perfect control. She even said this in an interview before the competition, that she can't bail out of her moves mid-air or she will probably die. Obviously she can no longer control her body adequately to safely attempt her routines. I suspect the Vax, but I suppose it could be something else. Whatever it is, you have to believe she would not pull out of the competition unless she was seriously having an issue. Justme |

She has been using Ritalin as a Performance Enhancing Drug (PED) for years. She got an exemption (TUE) from the IOC/WADA under the guise of having ADHD. However, Ritalin is illegal in the coutry of Japan excdpt for sleep disorders, and Japan told her she can't use it in Tokyo. No more advantage from a PED, so all of the sudden she has the gymnastic "yips" and can't perform. Too bad. She's not a hero. She just can't use her PED. |

That was not easy and the resulting firestorm of the press and her fellow gymnast had to take a big toll on not only her professional performances but in her personal life. Not only was she a victim of a serial predator but he was one she was forced to be a victim of by an organization that knew of his disgusting behavior over decades and did nothing. So I give her high marks for speaking up against both her predator and the organization that enabled him for decades to assault hundreds if not thousands of young girls. I for one can understand her when she says she felt the weight of the world on her shoulders |

Instead she quits says she has the spins and tells her team mates do it on youre own bitches. GOOD SPORT. Smoke another one and fail. Atleast Phelps won when he smoked. |

She's on Adderall and Japan will not allow it. The Olympics shouldn't allow it but do, the Japanese halted it at customs. The Chinese will expose her if she 'finds an alternative'. |

Simone Biles was sexually assaulted by a US Gymnastics doctor. She won a national championship with broken toes in both feet and a world championship with a kidney stone. She has four Olympic gold medals and 19 world gold medals. She has four (and counting) gymnastics moves named after her. She's the farthest thing from a loser or quitter any of you could possibly imagine. She doesn't owe you or this country a goddamn thing. We should be grateful we exist in a world with people like Simone Biles. |

Japan said no, and now she can't even get on the mat. |
