What she did was selfish and un-American. I could understand if she didn't feel well and her equilibrium is off. Coming off ADHD meds can do that to your inner ear. And we have all had those off days. Yes, the Russian gymnast is great too and a real threat to the GOAT. But, what a challenge too.

However, was a little too honest in saying that she was there for herself ( not to represent the USA) and and just didn't feel she was in the right place mentally. She even was having words and attitude with a teammate who was getting on her case. Now that is a cop out and she let her nation down.

She should have said less and emphasized a medical problem That is forgivable.

Anyways, I doubt she will be back in gymnastics after this stunt. Watch her become a big beach ball, angry with the world for calling he rout on her non-since. GOAT no more.
