The guys I hung around with, a group of brothers in the mix - they shared a Chevy Nova. I bet money on it, they miss that car now. Another model worth thousands of dollars.
The parking lot of my high school was full of cars like that.
All the stuff from an earlier life, we took for granted at the time.

It was a 1972 and when she could no longer drive or live alone, in 1992, it still had less than 75,000 miles. She never cared for the original upholstery so it had a plastic cover and numerous fabric ones covering the plastic. I drove it once, it was an automatic that could easily squeak the tires. Blue and with no rust.
