In 2020 the East Coast experienced late season frosts, and the west coast experienced wild fires, earthquakes, and smoke taint. There is also a glass shortage effecting wine bottles. 3 of the wineries I represent lost over 65% of their crop. I have seen first hand a shortage of wine that is effecting my sales and commissions. |

Quoting: VinoSom Wow! Sorry to hear your loss in the wine business. I know here in Eastern PA a local vineyard, Franklin Hill, had a major issue with the Chinese Spotted Lanternfly wrecking having on their crop. We have not seen much of them this year. I used to make dandelion wine. Simple and tasty if you do it correctly. Maybe I will start doing that again if I can find the materials. Hope you are having a better season this year. |

I am a huge whiskey lover and while I have a hefty stock of the aged goodness I will be having to tap into my stores. Quoting: WhiskeyBunker I usually buy 4 - 6 bottles a week! So far nothing here in Pennsylvania but I heard Ohio has shortages! [link to www.forbes.com (secure)] They will fix that shit. Mark my fucking words. Be plenty of weed, too. Make it easy. The whiskey/bourbon world is broken, with people camping out to buy bottles of allocated bourbon, just to turn around and re-sell them over the internet for 2-20x retail value. EHT Warehouse C is a prime example. Released a few weeks ago, it’s $70 at a retail store, and assholes online are selling it for (and people are paying) over $3,000. Bourbon has been broken for at least 5+ years. |

Most expensive bottle is about $250 but that is for special occasions such as world coming to an end. |

Basil Hayden is a little more than repacked Jim Beam. Most bottles worth drinking flip in the hundreds of dollar range these days. I’m sitting on several hundred bottles, mostly acquired in KY years ago. Last Edited by SaveApu on 08/01/2021 04:14 PM |

He’s going to his local liquor store to look for booze, and then come back HERE to report if there’s a shortage or not. Did you even try to engage the grey matter between your ears, or could you just not wait to spout off? It’s low IQ people like you that are dragging this country down the drain. |
