They called and wanted to move back with small children and pets. It 1000% broke my heart to say no. But I wasn’t the one who chose to do this. My bills are paid on my very small income. I honestly believe if I give in now, they will have learned absolutely nothing. Again it’s heartbreaking but they have literally had the income x3 of myself and I didn’t raise them like this. It’s time they are reminded of that Quoting: Moonflwr0704 Good for you! You did the right thing. |

Quoting: OrangeCrush2 Most of them are in fact gaming the system because they are smart unlike you cucks who pay rent or mortgage even though we are on the verge of the great reset and none of this will matter in a year or two. Now you're bailing them out, I wish I could kick your son in law in the nuts, and my girl could kick your daughter in the snatch. What lowlife lucky entitled bums. Your daughter is a drug addict. A no good heroin or meth fiend. Enjoy having to deal with the theft, lies and inevitable late night calls for Narcan. You deserve it for being Parent of the Year. |

I do remember someone saying their daughter and son in law and their two kids needed a place to stay after a job loss. She let the daughter and two kids move into one bedroom but made the husband live in the car because she knew he would be motivated to find something quick. And he did. |

They just came over and asked if they could move in for a few months so they could save money. I asked why they did not pay their rent for a year? They both work. They could not give me a straight answer. They both looked ashamed and promised they would stay only a few months. Mind you neither one of them lost their job or became unemployed due to covid. I am so pissed off at them. Quoting: Nojab Landlord came to them on Friday and handed them a 30 day notice. They live in a 100 unit apartment complex. Landlord had 67.....30 day notices to hand out. My husband caved and is letting them stay. What would you have done in this situation? Let them be homeless? I just can’t do that to my daughter. Your husband is an idiot that is enabling them. Those kids deserve to be homeless. Fuckin thieves. |

Your kids are losers and folowers whom should have kept paying their rent the whole time. Who gave them the right to not pay rent? Are they that uneducated to not know bills don't get paid without paying their bills? Where did you go wrong in teaching your idiot kids that not paying rent was okay? Your kids failed, and you failed too. You should be ashamed of them an yourselves. Will we even know we were alive when we're dead? All the rules of independence that are taught to you by your culture and media are arbitrary and meant to destroy families. Where is their money going? Quoting: LameDame What you decide is not my business. I hope you all get along and it works out. Those two could have moved to a cheaper place if they couldn’t afford their apartment. Or moved in with mom and dad and paid them some rent. They chose to steal the landlord’s money. They are thieves. And they will reap what they have sown. |

You and your husband did right by your daughter and her husband. Now, they start paying you rent. No problem. Oh, yes. One problem. Make them sign a contract. In that contract they will pay XXX amount per month. 30 days late is automatic eviction. Unless you have this contract you will never be able to evict them. |

It’s time they are reminded of that Quoting: Moonflwr0704 I'll bet this situation is happening in many households across the country right now. I don't think I could have said no to the grandkids. They are the ones that will suffer because of their parents actions. Families used to care for each other and chip in for the good of all. Now,we all retreat to our own corners and watch others fall. You will need their help one day. We all get old and frail. Then the tough love will be reversed. It would be different if the kids did not have jobs and government help. But they did have help and they know it. They willingly violated their obligation. That changes things. When a parent allows a wayward, using, selfish kid to take advantage of them, the kid will not there for them when they are old. That's the whole point. The kids have not treated other with respect or this would to have happened. People like that usually need to learn the hard way. If they don't learn, they will never be the type of person who cares for an older parent. I think living in extended family situations can be wonderful IF everyone is responsible and values the privacy of each other. If it is just a bunch on irresponsible kids mooching off their parents, there will not be a good ending for anyone. wkk |

User ID: 80688329 United States 08/02/2021 12:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow I didn’t realize this would go the way it did? Once again like I posted a few pages back they are selling one of their vehicles and the rest of the money owed to the landlord will be loaned to them by us. They will be making bi-weekly payments to pay us back. They possibly will be able to stay in the Apartment if money owed to the landlord is paid by the 15th. It will be paid. Hopefully they will not be moving in with us if all works out. Quoting: Nojab I also have 4 other grown children whom are well adjusted financially independent homeowners. She is our youngest and has always been the most difficult one. She married a younger man who is not very bright. I’m not blaming him because she’s just as guilty as he is. They don’t have children( thank God)and they do not use drugs. My husband sat down with them all day hammering out a financial plan for them to work on. Hopefully they have learned their lesson. Thank you for your update! Very interesting! This sounds very reasonable and it is actually nice to understand the outcome. These things are difficult, no doubt! Hopefully, they will be able to stay in the apartment and pay you back. That would be a lovely ending to this situation and they would have learned what they needed! wkk |

I want them to admit why. Then if it was because they bought other things, I’d start taking them away. Idk, that’s so tough. Living in an apartment and not paying rent just because has got to be the most liberal thing I’ve ever seen. Curious, did they vote for Biden? Apparently you didn't get the millenial memo. They are tired of the older gen having all the wealth. The older generation (the one that starts with a B) = |
