I understand this is anecdotal but I think it's safe to say the CDC numbers for hospital admissions are bullshit. COVID "cases" are definitely up here, we have been running more and more each day after it was almost non existent for months. I ask every COVID patient I have if they have been vaccinated and so far my tally is 80% are fully vaccinated. I spoke with some nurses at a local hospital working on the COVID floor, they say it's the same up there, "the vast majority that are admitted have been vaccinated." Every one I have treated is mildly sick with flu-like symptoms and don't even need an ambulance, much less a hospital. It's a clown world we are living in

These are the blue 3m n95 (1860). After burning through around 6 months of stock, the masks started coming in with a noxious, terrible chemical smell to them. There is no telling what I am breathing in, but every mask since then has had this nasty smell to them. Not sure if anyone else in the field has noticed this?

They only "decrease serious illness," which for the vast majority of people the risk of serious illness is non existent. The only people that should be considering the risk/reward for these vaccines are people in a nursing home. It should be a hard no for everyone else. I'm not sure how people don't understand this

The virus is airborne, using a cloth or surgical mask for droplet precaution doesn't provide any meaningful protection. Only an n95 or respirator with a CORRECT FIT works as well as you believe

It’s meant to prevent surgeons from dropping spit into open wounds. They DO NOT prevent viral transmission. I work in surgery. This has been known and taught for decades. This is why medical staff wear N95s in TB patient rooms. And TB is a huge bacteria compared to a virus.
