The mask mandate was dropped 5 months ago, cases are just now picking up. You are living in fantasyland if you think any mask outside of an n95 provides any sort of protection Youre in a medical field and you still don't understand that masks work not by preventing you from inhaling the virus containing particles but by blocking the particles you release when you speak, cough, sneeze, etc? Huh? So you’re saying wearing a mask allows you to inhale air containing the virus particles but the air and particles are blocked on the exhale?  Disposable masks are useless in both directions for virus control. 5 to 10% of the air flow bypasses the mask entirely along the cheek line. The only reason surgeons wear them is to prevent a big glob of snot or spit from dripping into a patient during surgery.
