Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78152436 That was probably the best route to take towards herd immunity. Wrong.. but right. Wrong because they changed the definition of herd immunity to be based off the percentage of population vaccinated. Prior it was determined by the percentage of people who had immunity, whether ot be natural or from a vaccine. The ONLY measure for herd immunity now is officialy how many take a 'vaccine'. No one is letting these people take up beds, they just aren't. We have dumb people calling and asking if they cna just chill here while they have it and we just laugh so hard. I'm curious and maybe you can answer this question, are hospitals still getting a $25k subsidy when any COVID patient is admitted to the hospital? Quoting: J1NX the reason it was "non-existant for months" was MASK WEARING MANDATES Texas governor fucked you all by removing mask requirements The reason it was "non-existent for months" was because Antibody Dependent Enhancement begins once a vaccine begins to wear off. Original Antigenic Sin and was predicted, even by the FDA in that slide that was accidentally included, as possible vaccine injury outcomes. DaisyGrace |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79997323 the reason it was "non-existant for months" was MASK WEARING MANDATES Texas governor fucked you all by removing mask requirements Lol, do you really think a cloth mask or surgical mask provides any protection against a virus? The mask mandate was dropped 5 months ago, cases are just now picking up. You are living in fantasyland if you think any mask outside of an n95 provides any sort of protection Youre in a medical field and you still don't understand that masks work not by preventing you from inhaling the virus containing particles but by blocking the particles you release when you speak, cough, sneeze, etc? Huh? So you’re saying wearing a mask allows you to inhale air containing the virus particles but the air and particles are blocked on the exhale? Disposable masks are useless in both directions for virus control. 5 to 10% of the air flow bypasses the mask entirely along the cheek line. The only reason surgeons wear them is to prevent a big glob of snot or spit from dripping into a patient during surgery. Last Edited by JustmeTX on 08/03/2021 04:43 AM Justme |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78150776 United States 08/11/2021 05:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The objective of the vaccine is to prevent serious illness. Bullshit! That's what they backpedalled to saying NOW. Here's an article from Feb 2021: --- One common misunderstanding is that 95% efficacy means that in the Pfizer clinical trial, 5% of vaccinated people got COVID. But that's not true; the actual percentage of vaccinated people in the Pfizer (and Moderna) trials who got COVID-19 was about a hundred times less than that: 0.04%. What the 95% actually means is that vaccinated people had a 95% lower risk of getting COVID-19 compared with the control group participants, who weren't vaccinated. In other words, vaccinated people in the Pfizer clinical trial were 20 times less likely than the control group to get COVID-19. [link to www.livescience.com (secure)] --- They ALL claimed it was approx. 94%-95% effective in preventing a person from getting COVID. They then had to backpedal because the majority of people getting COVID were/are vaccinated x 2. Now their new bullshit narrative is what you said, "It doesn't prevent COVID, it just makes it less severe". Once that it proven wrong, and it will be shortly, just wait for their next backpedal...it's going be a real doosy. "Well we didn't say the vaccine prevented people fro getting COVID, and we didn't say it would make it less severe, and we didn't say you wouldn't need boosters every month because of ADE, and..." Good stuff. I fact checked. It is as you say. |
