It seems crazy to think about after all these months - and Trudeau is probably furious with the Alberta government. Come August 16th, the government says that all quarantines are finished - even if you are COVID-positive, you can leave your home. The China Virus will be treated like any other illness. That is how it should be. You shouldn't be a criminal for leaving your house for cough syrup when you are sick. Sure - don't go to a night-club when you are ill, but who ever did? The response from the left has been hilarious - with one doctor (who is a mainstream media favorite) calling for an insurrection against the provincial government. They are losing their minds. Now, throughout this pandemic, I have been furious with Jason Kenney's treatment of small business owners and pastors, many of which were my good friends. The arrests and bankruptcies are unforgiveable. But credit where credit is due, officially ending pandemic policy in Alberta will be unpopular with the left - but it was the right move. The demonstrators, some carrying placards and most not wearing masks, gathered at Flinders Street and moved into Swanston Street as police tried to disperse them. The large crowd marched through the city chanting "Sack Dan Andrews" and "No more lockdown", while two officers pepper-sprayed protesters when mob members approached them. A police sergeant suffered minor cuts and abrasions after he was pushed to the ground and kicked outside Melbourne East police station. 50% as per T&Cs. Long story short absolute garbage. Victoria is in lockdown over 1 case. Regional areas suffer also because of apparent samples of covid found in a country town waste water system. The vaccination target is 80% so I say to the freedom fighters to wait it out because as always the fake people will take credit if we win. Let them fall, as sad as it makes me to say it.
