The mandates are going to fail, at least in America. You have to think about this logically. There is no possible way you're going to force 50% of people to do something to their body. There's always a way around it.

In my day-to-day life I haven't encountered any pressure for my household to get vaxed.

Most employers would not want to require it - they are having a hard time keeping people as it is.

But gov can require it and is doing so, and their "talent pool" is endless (as being a gov employee typically requires no marketable skills).

The little folks are collateral damage. It's the big guys they want out.
