Today, I will be doing an OVERLAY TREATMENT using the Salvator Mundi
painting over the Davinci Last Supper painting today
to show you something mind boggling. Davinci was very
curious about double-exposures and it is suggested that
he even invented the first "projector" that was used on
the wall of the Del Gracie Convent in Milan.

He did some stunningly advanced optical experiments!

(I hope to have that overlay image APPROVED for a smilie
this afternoon to share.)

It's all good. I did the same thing. Put my laptop in
the OVEN for a farraday cage effect...but only left it
there for about 10 minutes.

I remember that! It's a good example of "EMPTY CHAIR"
discussion and role playing by Clint Eastwood. (This
goes along with part of the introduction material for
those of you who have just come into the last post and
NOT looked over the topic info!) Below is the picture

This is the location in Davinci's Last Supper
for the "empty chair" (they call that "Sede Vecante"
in Latin.) It is a very old symbol that usually
meant some kind of unhappy event. The Empty Chair
as a negative symbol has a very long history and
can be found by just googling "empty chair." (I
originally thought this grouping of disciples was
for WINTER--but now understand its meant for the
summer months--specifically pointing to August!

Here is a CURRENT USE of the "empty chair" symbolism
that's found in politics!

If you are patient with me, I'll show you something
really SIGNIFICANT about that "three-star-triangle" that
appears as a reflection in the crystal ball that
Salvator Mundi holds. Here is a smilie I made for
the Salvator Mundi thread I hosted a few months back
after the Saudi purchase at Chisti's auction (i HAVE
DISCOVERED SOMETHING NEW for the August 2020-21 thread
today, however!):


Edited version of Wayne Hershel's
"Salvator Mundi" image--I've labeled
my own symbolic meanings to the 3 stars
in the CRYSTAL BALL.

Because the actual OPTICS of what reflections
and distortions might be expected if the glass
ball Salvator Mundi holds DO NOT MATCH REALITY
it isn't a huge "leap of logic" to understand
that Davinci didn't MEAN for his audience to see
the crystal ball as an actual "glass orb." It is
being used as a METAPHOR for something else.
(You have to decide that yourself.)

However, if the Salvator Mundi image is USED AS
AN OVERLAY on top of another Davinci piece of art
--AS I believe he intended it to be used WITH his
Last Supper image--you can see this is a MESSAGE--A DATE.
...the meaning may be very obvious.

You could say Davinci is trying to say:
"So...YOU WANT ME TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE FUTURE? Here's
what I can show you. (The we look at the OVERLAY TREATMENT
of Salvator Mundi on top of his Last Supper image!)

2. Place the CENTER "X" of Salvator Mundi's cape and the
face of Jesus EXACTLY center to the Last Supper image.
3. THE "ORB" falls exactly OVER disciple "James"--who has
been identified as representing the SYMBOL "LEO" and the
month of AUGUST. (Year for the designated month is found
in the lunnettes above the Last Supper in Roman Numerals
"MMXX")
