Re: THINKING OUT LOUD. (My Journal)
Never Again.

Lest we forget, as the entire world, it seems, calls for a "cease-fire", there are STILL hostages. Shall we just "forget" each hostage, someone's son, daughter, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, including children, babies, and pregnant woman, friend, or acquaintance? Shall we just "forget" them, and the injustices done to them and ALL Israeli's?

Praying for all the hostages (and ALL Israeli's) and NEVER, EVER forgetting them.

God is the "Lifter" of our head.

Picture what that means. What does it mean if someone "lifts up our head"?

For Christians, confused about what the "breaking of the marriage covenant", means. Here's some bona fide, Biblical, Godly, wisdom and clarity.

Isaiah 54 relates to the above post's subject. Read it carefully, prayerfully, and with the wisdom and discernment that God will surely grant anyone who asks God for it and seeks it.

Why John MacArthur needs to repent and step down after excommunicating a victimized mother and children who were abused in multiple ways, including sexual abuse, by her husband and their father, a member of the staff at John MacArthur's Church.

The woman who was publically shamed in front of the congregation and called an unrepentant sinner, and ex-communicated from his Church, was Eileen Gray.

A "Psalm"/prayer, in "song".

It is for these pourings out of a heart and soul (these tears), that Jesus Christ died.

For those with ears to hear, and for the weary and discouraged.

May more and more weary souls seek His (our heavenly Father's) refuge and embrace. Father, may it be so, against all odds, in Jesus' name, amen.

Re: THINKING OUT LOUD. (My Journal)
For those with ears to hear.

Coming to God.

God is not "impressed" with us. We can not "flatter" Him, or use any guiles or wiles to "manipulate" Him. He's impressed with NONE of it.

What He DOES respond to is the guile-less simplicity of a child, which is the epitome of "humbleness".

"We must put away all effort to impress and come with the guiless candor of childhood." A.W. Tozer

Jesus Himself reminds us to come to Him, all ye who are weary and heavy-laden and He will give us rest for our very souls.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and my burden is light." -Matthew 11:28-30

The bridge collapse: More details.

Published in USA Today, 3/26/24 @12:28pm and updated @9pm, under "Investigations", it's reported that The cargo ship "Dali" was involved in at least one prior accident when it collided with a shipping pier in Belgium in 2016. According to VesselFinder.com, an investigation determined a mistake made by the ship's master and pilot was to blame. VesselFinder reports that the Dali was chartered by Maersk, the same company chartering it during the Baltimore harbor incident.

It's reported that the captain of the Dali cargo ship is Ukranian, according to rollitup.org

Re: THINKING OUT LOUD. (My Journal)
God's "training wheels".

We are akin to spiritual "toddlers" to God. And He loves every wobbly and shaky "step" that we take. This is why we can have confidence and faith in our heavenly Father and trust Him with our steps, and why we can "rest" in Him, because even as we may stumble, tumble, and flounder at times. The bottom line, is that Hes GOT us.

"If we only have the will to walk, then God is pleased even with our stumbles." -C.S. Lewis
