I also closed out my account around 15 years ago. I sold $200 worth of books to some guy in Canada. He admitted he got them, then cried fraud on his credit card. I sent Paypal his email saying he had received them, but because back then there was no tracking between the US and Canada they gave him back the money. I appealed and the denial of it showed up like 5 minutes later.

I do like using PayPal for online payments though cause it's built t in to so many companies websites payment options now.

I definitely take advantage of that 6 months zero interest when doing new equipment buys if I need to.

I thought about it. But when I realized the email they sent .com saying that your statement is ready had the 26th and the paper statement (yes I still get some paper statements) had the 26th so I'm not sure I have a leg to stand on. I never read my emails and don't normally open the envelope because for more than 10 years the due date never changed.
