Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I over heard a conversation today while shopping ....at Costco it was between an employee, and their supervisor, telling her that tonight, after the store closes, they are going to "increase the prices on everything in the store ... by a lot" (nation wide) - which is why all their employees were called in, for an "emergency" late-night shift because they needed all the help they could get, to get it all done before they open tomorrow
we've become accustomed to the prices of a few items, increasing - but to raise the prices of EVERYTHING in the store is plain and simply CORPORATE GREED - its not because they can't get these items - their shelves were filled - no empty sections ... as usual, it was stacked to the warehouse ceiling - with their OWN products - Kirtland Signature - which they NEVER run out of - unlike Safeway, who carry ten brands of the same item - some of which are no longer being produced which accounts for bare spaces in their shelves
and to add to that, when I went to their gas pumps for my 3cent discount ... there was a line up of cars that circled the parking lot - never seen that before ... it's not like everyone knew that prices will increase tomorrow - ... today it was the cheapest gass in town... for members only |
