They often give a separate wallet address for each transfer. I've heard people recommend this for personal wallets as well, though many people don't in practice for multiple reasons (fees, hassle, organization, time, etc). [link to help.coinbase.com (secure)] "We automatically generate a new address for you after every transaction you make or when funds are moved between your wallet and our storage system. This is done to protect your privacy, so that a third-party cannot view all other transactions associated with your account simply by using a blockchain explorer." Best bet is to contact coinbase directly. I know with BTC/LTC there was a process that a miner could kick back a transaction that was posted on the wrong network (or something like that), but I don't really know how that works or if it's even applicable to ANKR or in your particular situation. Hopefully within a day or two it will show up in one of your accounts. I'd contact support though and see what they say. |

But yes, try it, in Coinbase pro when you go into a specific crypto recipient address if you back out and reenter you'll notice the hash changes every time. I was thinking I KNOW for a fact I triple checked before completing the transaction but this was at 1 am. I'm hoping it's not a bep2 to bep20 nightmare situation! Luckily it's $70 not $700 or more lol :memorybanner: |

Then it’s just the waiting game. There's. A. H0le. In. The. Sky. |

Quoting: REaliZe Then it’s just the waiting game. That's what I'm hoping but something doesn't feel right here... I was put off when I went into Coinbase pro and the recipient address for ANKR was different. Went in and out of the recipient and it is always different... When I pasted the recipient address into trust wallet and did the transfer I had no problems it's just not showing up in my cbp wallet. I know it can take a long time but it already shows succeeded and when I put in several tickets they say the information I've entered is incorrect, even though it's right there on bscscan. Let's just hope it pops up but I want it to before the prices all crash back down. Oh well thank God it wasn't much! :memorybanner: |

User ID: 78318396 United States 08/14/2021 04:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I tried transferring 700 ANKR which is about $70 from trust wallet to Coinbase pro at around 1 am. Quoting: eyeDR3 On Coinbase pro, when copying the recipient address, I noticed it constantly changes. Fine, whatever. The issue is that when I sent from trust wallet to Coinbase pro I pasted the address I had just copied and it went through but is not showing in my portfolio. Did $70 just vanish? It's shit like this that makes me not a big fan really... I was merely trying to consolidate so I could sell and take some gains but now I have no idea where that 700 ANKR went... This is the address it went to... 0x14b817c5e99362E7Ea4BFC732A340671e48467E0 No you're right, and thanks |

(OP) User ID: 79828781 United States 08/14/2021 04:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah the cross chain stuff is not clear. US doesn't appear to want to allow any access to bep-20. Sucks. I wonder if they will find a way to shut the dex doors to us. Yes and I just had the slightest slip in that, thinking bep20 was what it needed to be to transfer when in fact, no, needs to be ERC20. Not blaming them for my lack of knowledge but it's wild! Straight up makes me think of south park "...Aaaaaand it's GONE!" I put in a help ticket with trust wallet but their form is also somewhat archaic. In bscscan, it shows to and from hash addresses and the transaction hash, but below that it shows a different address for "to". Fucking weird... The help ticket will probably return "we're unable to help you" or "we're sorry" hahaha :memorybanner: |

Why? I ask myself. I guess allowing for fees and to confirm, new to the smart chain. Last Edited by syncro on 08/14/2021 05:00 PM |

That's pretty rough and I can understand why there are calls for regulation. Funny enough, Coinbase used to support Binance! I found a method of using a hardware wallet and pulling it in that way, then sending it back to trust wallet. Probably what I'll do later. I've had no issues with atomic wallet (other than stupid fees) or Coinbase but I fell victim to the network compatibility flaw and kinda jumped the gun. Won't do that again lol :memorybanner: |

I had to buy Binance as gas so I spent $30 to lose $70. Hilarious really, because again, not a huge amount of money. But lost money is lost money. They will use any little excuse to steal your crypto if they can, they are hyper-compliant with gov and law enforcement and so many people experience problems with coinbase that support refuses to resolve.
