Expected backlash to more lockdowns (home arrest for the masses)

I have to chuckle whenever I hear normies either talk or post about their belief that prepper types are the biggest threat when the next round of "lock downs" begin. To clarify, I'm speaking specifically about the USA.
They, the normies, still view prepper types as extreme right wing gun crazies just looking for a chance to use their firearms.
I personally believe they couldn't be further from the truth. Every prepper type person I personally know, as well as ones I follow on this forum and others, fully expect the next round of lock downs and has prepared accordingly. The lock downs and further restrictions aren't a surprise or shock to those with that mindset.

My personal opinion about what group is going to lose it and freak out when they find out they have to endure more insane lock downs and restrictions? All those that rushed to get the shots so they "could get back to normal". They thought because they were good little citizens and got their shots, wore their masks and shamed those that didn't, they would be able to go back to how things were in the pre-covid days. They will not be able to accept that things got worse instead of better. Those will be the ones committing domestic homicides, random attacks in public, etc.

Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

Failing to plan is planning to fail.
