Setting up road blocks (mobile autonomous zones)is a trend that is starting to gather momentum in Blue Cities nationwide.

This is a pattern that is very predictable in nations that are in decline.

These roadblocks are set up by local gang affiliates with the purpose to intimidate local authorities and to charge taxes to travelers (non-gang members) Sometimes resulting in death.

Media Silent.

History has shown these incidents to be harbingers of decline in law and order. Somalia, Beirut, and 1930s Spain, to name a few, experienced these patterns before civil war broke out.
