I know quite a few people that died from opiates or were addicted to opiates in the time period we were fighting for opium, I mean freedom.

Those of us who are a certain age (mid 40s) have peers who died and were maimed at war, peers who died and are still dying from dope, and some who had both horrors visited upon them. Just like our parents and their peers during Vietnam. My late father was drafted and served during Vietnam. This would make him sick to his stomach, as angry as he was after Sept 11 ... he would be sick that this is the result of all that.
