Ok? You don't call soldiers back and tell them they will be on a plane in 4 hrs for scheduled training.

They were called at 6ish. Told to report back immediately for deployment.

More intel coming in. Some of the units being deployed are/were considered "non-deployable"....what ever that means.

If anyone can see our troops, they are so young and not very smart.

Don't ask, I won't repeat, I will say it's not this one though.

Getting on a plane to AFG. Nonstop, refueling in the air.

They will immediately load the plane up with refugees and turn the plane right back around after off-loading the troops and head to Doha.

You know as well as I that it doesn't matter. This forum is read by unfriendlys. This should have never been posted.

They must hold Afghanistan for any military strategic operation in the area. Will probably end up being an overwhelming force and turned into a u.s territory.

If war with china breaks out the usa will need that base of operation.

The usa is obligated to act if the elected president at the airport signed a u.s territory agreement treaty with a general and embassy diplomat present.

USA also has to honor continuity of government set up . The president can not step down while under duress by an enemy combatant.

If all other democratic elected leaders are unaccounted for the next in line in the presence of u.s forces becomes the president even if its a woman.

The elected leadership in afgan is an ally and we have signed obligations to them. The Taliban can not just remove the government. We can not leave now.
