Military life is no joke. I have two Afghan vet sons. One is messed up from it. My grandbabies are far away because military family...

Much respect Farmersdaughter. My wife and I care for mine as well and wouldn't have it any other way. I can't stand the thought of all the senior citizens withering away forgotten and alone in assisted living. More people should try it, it's very rewarding to help the people you love!

Awesome story. One of my vet sons had his seven year marriage anniversary yesterday. They have four children. Made a romantic date in the backyard in a tent! Roses, candles. Newborn fussed and joined. These two are so in love! My daughter in law is impeccable! Adores my son. Faithful while he was 9 mos in Afghanistan. I could not be prouder.

My firstborns( twins) will take care of me in my old age. I joke that I will show up on the doorstep of the biggest house. They married lovely ladies! You say good women don't exist but that's far from true. My daughter in laws are golden!
