The potential for shit to go sideways is definitely there and rising by the hour.

I imagine that the military is unhappy about the Biden administration wanting to go past September first so that they can fly 20+ afghanis out for every American that gets out of Afghanistan.

(20:1 is me being the most charitable I can possibly be. In reality it's very likely that 50 Afghanis, who we have no idea who they are thanks state department, are being evacuated for every one american)

If the current evacuation pace is held and we assume that at the beginning of this there were 15,000 Americans needing evacuation.

We know that as of the end of Sunday only 3370 Americans had been successfully evacuated.

At the rate of current progress this indicates that we'd need well into OCTOBER to get out all the American evacuees not including the 5800+ troops running the evacuation.

By that point in October If things continue on the current pacing etc well OVER a million afghanis will have been flown out.

Basically ALL of that million afghanis will then be set loose in America at a truly insane cost per *refugee" which will easily hit well over $150,000 per year per refugee times one million for at least 5 years not including evacuation costs which will absolutely destroy the DOD's budget for this year too as an added "bonus".

Why will all of them be let loose in America?

Because the State department "accidentally" mass emailed SIV visas to most of Afghanistan while also "losing" our biometric database of afghanis to the Taliban.

This means we will likely be importing at least 100,000 Taliban in this "mercy evacuation" and resettling them in America and we won't even know which ones are the Taliban fuckers.

Well, we kept hearing about how Biden was warned not to do this by the military. I always thought the military actually had the last word and not the POTUS when it came to push - interesting and wow.
