My Wife Donna passed away on September 1st

I never have words enough for a loss like this Pete. Just know that you and Dakota are in my thoughts and maybe you find some comfort in the beautiful memories you and Donna shared. Moments that made you laugh and cry together. Through that she is never really gone, but lives on for always, safely tucked away in the deepest red of your heart.

IF YOU CANT HAVE FOLKS OVER FOR NOW...GO BIG WITH RADIO CHATTER AND SPORTS AND CLASSICAL MUSIC...PUT SOMETHING ON IN EACH ROOM...CLOSE THE DOORS IF YOU HAVE TO BUT, KEEP IT ON. ALSO, THE RELIGIOUS RADIO STATIONS CAN REALLY HELP..AND COAST TO COAST AM AS WELL. CAPS.

So sorry to hear she is gone. It is best you be home to sort your mind out. Going to the service will only leave you the last vision of her in that place. Being at home will allow you to remember her in all the other wonderful ways without the service putting a rock into it.

We share in your pain. Your are not alone. Give yourself the time you need, then, you will regain your strength again.

I was telling someone about your story and was the timeline really around a couple of weeks?
She didn't feel sick until fairly recently - or do I have that wrong?

She got a headache on the 16th flu like symptoms got worse each day, went to the doctor on the 20th, and tested positive and was sent home with meds. On the 24th I called the ambulance. She died at 12:18 on the first of Sept.

How are YOU feeling? Are you over the first week of quarantine?
Do you have any symptoms? Is your son ok?

Sons fine. Im really run down and tired other than that my symptoms have subsided. Im at around 15 days since I was last exposed. Unless I came into some surface contact after that, hard to say. I was masked and gloved while I was caring for her, but she was just coughing so much.

Strange disease.

My son is a dialysis patient, he was tested on the day after my Wife tested positive. He was negative. We sent him to stay with his Aunt and he is still there now.
