Fukushima to dump Rads in the Ocean starting in 2023.

Fukushima to release 1 million tons of ‘radioactive water’ directly into the ocean via undersea tunnel.

Ya'll think this is a good idea to be creating a tunnel in an earthquake zone to release radio active material in a controlled fashion?

Future doom to the oceans is what I see.

Where does the tunnel lead to? Into the ocean - so earthquakes are nothing to worry about here.

From the article :

An official in charge of the water discharge project, Junichi Matsumoto, said TEPCO will construct the undersea tunnel by drilling through bedrock in the seabed near its No. 5 reactor, which survived the meltdowns at the plant, to minimize possible underground contamination or leakage of radioactive ground water into the tunnel.

The offshore discharge using a pipeline enclosed inside a concrete tunnel is an attempt to minimize the “reputational damage” that would occur if the contaminated water is released close to marine life off the Fukushima coast.

And to think the very first F^&k up was them building a nuclear power plant on an earthquake prone piece of real estate.
It's beyond the pale of stupidity.

The nodes of ocean create a constant salinity content.

Once that changes the whole body of the ocean changes.

How could anyone think this a good idea?

The Japanese directors of the power company after failing to contain the flow of radioactive water by containment vessels and frozen walls, chose to release 200 tons of highly radioactive water daily since the meltdown. Do the math and then watch the ocean current patterns and ponder the death of the Pacific biomass.

Added for future reading. I'm sure the research there is extensive.

The recent news story had piqued my interest due to the way they were going to do this "dump". Just doesn't seem safe at all from any angle when it involves radiation in the ocean.I don't care how diluted they say it's going to be.

It could spell out massive doom for all sea life as we know it and I'm sure there are plenty of activists out there that are condemning this move all in vain for they will do whatever they want anyway. Very sad.

A dimes worth of Radioactive Cesium 137 could make central park uninhabitable for 90 years. Think of what 300 tons of highly radioactive water is doing to the Pacfic Ocean since this all began, radio active rain has increased background radiation world wide, there are also dead zones on the west coast, disappearing Marine life, and a plague of surfers getting Cancer. GE built the reactors over the objections of their own engineers who thought it unsafe. They need to come up with a solution as well as have their entire company taken to pay for the cleanup..

It has already been flowing into the ocean for over 10 years...the Bedrock is shattered, and the water flows directly to the Ocean beside it. Where the meltdowns are now in the Earth, they don't know, they keep dumping water on the thing while sh*tting in the other hand to see what will come first.

The Ecosystem of the Earth is F*CKED because of the meltdowns STILL happening for 10 years as LYING UN helps cover up the Failure in Japan with CO2 doom.

Only Madness is happening in Fukushima.
