Rachel Maddow, the top-rated anchor at MSNBC, has renewed her contract with the cable news network, extending her 13-year run for several more years.

In addition to hosting her show, Ms. Maddow, 48, will develop new projects with the network’s parent company, NBCUniversal, the person said. Financial terms of the deal could not be learned.

Ms. Maddow’s contract had been set to expire next year, and The Daily Beast reported this month that she had expressed interest in leaving the network to pursue podcasting and streaming projects. News that Ms. Maddow had extended her contract with the network was first reported by Insider.

“The Rachel Maddow Show,” which is broadcast weeknights at 9 p.m., is MSNBC’s No. 1 ratings draw and features a mix of news, opinion and entertainment. Ms. Maddow, a former Rhodes scholar, was one of the hosts who helped MSNBC become a beloved hub for liberals, particularly during the presidency of Donald J. Trump.

Her stature at the network and in the cable news orbit grew with Mr. Trump in office as her show helped lead a resurgence in ratings for MSNBC, whose prime-time viewership in the key 25-to-54 age demographic more than doubled in a year. (Fox News has once again regained its mantle as No. 1.)

Why do you spout fake news ? Japan has NOT approved Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID. The exact opposite in fact. The Japanese have done one clinical trial on Ivermectin treatment.

While that study showed some effectiveness in mildly infected patients, the overall conclusion was that the effectiveness of Ivermectin in COVID patients was inconclusive due to the short duration and limited participants in the study.

There are some conclusions that Ivermectin has the ability to stop the virus from replicating which would be great but nothing concrete yet and it is not a preventative but only effective after a person is infected with the virus and only after meeting certain criteria such as a 95% blood oxygen content which is close to a normal range for most individuals.

When you make shit up like saying Japan has approved it as a preventive treatment for COVID which is absolutely not true, you only create fake news so many complain about in the MSM. Here is a quote from the medical authority of Japan on Ivermectin:

“ Japan's health ministry's COVID-19 treatment guidelines revised in July places ivermectin in a category of drugs whose efficacy and safety have not been established.”

Doesn’t get much simpler than that, you are completely and totally wrong. This is from the latest updated guidance issued in July. One specialist in Japans Health Ministry suggested that a new trial of the effectiveness of Ivermectin should be immediately started but no one has approved it for treatment so stop spreading your fake false garbage.

Does this mean it should not be looked at ? Of course not but under supervised clinical conditions so proper conclusive evidence can be established. Those sucking horse paste out of a tube are wasting time money and effort as Ivermectin has never been called a preventive medication to take prior to infection. It has anecdotal evidence of preventing the virus from replicating in the body only
