Telescopic tracking footage of CRS-23 launch

I tracked the launch this weekend using my rocket tracker software and a prediction of the launch trajectory from flightclub.io. Something comes off the rocket about 2 minutes and 7 seconds after launch. I've never seen that happen with a Falcon 9 that late in the first stage burn before. It's pretty normal to see thruster covers come off right at launch, but something appears to have come off much later towards the end of the first stage burn.

I’ve never had a thruster cover come off right at lunch either.

Sorry Astro but that made me laugh.

Good job as usual. I like the gossamer ring at separation, or stage two ignition.

THIS is why I am a paying member. Thanks, Astro! That was the best launch video I have ever seen... You probably embarrassed a LOT of professional videographers today...

Doc, I can't see anything coming of the Falcon 9. The only thing I make out at around 2:07 is a star or planet.

Can you put up a screen grab if/when you have a little time?

Thanks in advance.

I’ve made this comment before but it’s worth repeating. I’m now spoiled being accustomed to Astro’s smooth as silk tracking.

Watching other launch vids sucks now… get nauseous from all the shaking / jerky movement.

It's about 2:26 in the video, since it starts roughly 20 seconds before launch.
