BREAKING: Reports of US Chinooks flying over Karachi, Pakistan | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80302553 United States 09/02/2021 03:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WHY SPECULATE about this ? It could very easily be that Pak is on the threshold of war with India, and we are there ahead of schedule to assist in the action. Since we've been a strong ally of Pakistan since the 70s, and their conventional military was mainly supplied to them all these decades by the United States. |

Why are the US leaving all that equipment in Taliban/Daesh hands? Can't they just send a flurry of fighter jets from one of the air bases across the Gulf (UAE/Saudi) and turn it all to dust before it gets too late? I came. I saw. I Concorde. For once you have tasted Concorde you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72530568 I guess the Taliban and the US Army are buddies now!! It's not designed to look like their enemy, it was a gift from their frenemy. If I had a dollar for every time I got suspicious... I'd wonder who was paying me, and why? |

Short of WWIII, I can't even imagine the next chapter. I'm sure I won't be disappointed, though. As long as it doesn't aggravate my vet rage, I should be good. Countries they could attack may think they are being attacked by the US and not Afghanistan. If at all possible I bet they would not think twice about flying these aircrafts in America and we could not tell the difference and turn out own weapons against us. I thought the military trained soldiers over there to defend themselves. Would this include training piolets too? If so, we can be framed for attacks we do not do. |

IFF (identify friend or foe) is in all this equipment and validation codes should have been changed by now If you don't return the right response, you are "foe" and fired on. m |

IFF is used by both military and civilian aircraft. IFF was first developed during World War II, with the arrival of radar, and several friendly fire incidents. |

Quoting: Swamprat Nah. Couldn't be. The only military equipment that was disabled was what was the Kabul airport. They already had plenty of other aircraft gifted to them knowing full well the Afghan army was about to collapse. TeknaBuzz |

User ID: 79280147 United States 09/02/2021 04:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Did none of these government einsteins ever read "Dune?" When the Harkonens handed the planet Dune over to House Atreides, they left all kinds of boobie-traps and killing devices. If we couldn't scuttle or destroy all the stuff, why couldn't we put little needles, coated with ricin. They put the gear on, and a couple days later they have the flu and then die. Call it COVID. To snatch victory from the jaws of this defeat, all they had to do was read "Dune" and watch "Breaking Bad." Last Edited by IAMTHATGUY on 09/02/2021 04:59 PM "Peace in our time?
