In the big, big picture I can see it as a manifestation of the demiurgic/archonic journey on the downward spiral towards increased mimicry and simulation.
I can picture human androids spending their lives in womb-pods while experiencing countless simulated lives/personalities simultaneously with parallelization. It's a "green" way of "life".
A simulated simulation of the simulation, and so forth.

It sort of resonates with me. Only Greek to the degree that the Greek gnostics contemplated the demiurge. Over time I've found the ancient gnostic perspective really aligns with the human experience. Seems accurate. The demiurge is some persistent force, maybe an AI, always trying to mimic life in order to subsume, parameterize, and control it.
