I'm in the Seattle area and would love to move to Idaho or Montana to get away from the lib infestation. You picked a great area (even if it does get COLD in winter...) with tons of fun stuff to do. Congrats!!! Steve Last Edited by Nostros on 09/04/2021 05:07 PM Nostros |

Quoting: -Kate- I went hard looking for a job, sent out more then 30 resumes out west and landed a job. Btw, I got 2 other offers for work afterwards, but I’m happy with what I found, so there’s jobs out there you guys! Destination Edmonton is where I’m going, and I fly into a mine up north when I work, I’m doing the same work I did before in Ontario. If your miserable under Ford, I hope this gives you inspiration. Will Alberta go to crap? Maybe, but I asked about the vaxx right away since I’m flying to a mine to work and it’s not required...yet. AB is going wonky again but to a lesser extent and 'wobbling'. You always struck me as a Prairie woman in your writing, didn't know you were from ON. Hopefully you found a nice crossbow! It was you asking I think. Mine's shipping this week. Good luck in your new job. Edmonton is a fairly fun city. |

You picked a great area (even if it does get COLD in winter...) with tons of fun stuff to do. Congrats!!! Steve Thanks Steve!! It can be done as you can see. The window for moving is getting closer to being shut daily it seems. I really liked where I lived here in Ontario (northern part) and I have lots of family and friends here, so it wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s scary here and the majority of people in my life here all took the vaxx and think everything’s going to return to normal one day. When they realize it’s not, it’s going to implode! I see that train coming.... |

Good luck in your new job. Edmonton is a fairly fun city. I did live in the prairies for years, in Saskatchewan and moved to Ontario 5 years ago, it was going great till Covid. And yes, that was me inquiring about that crossbow, I still haven’t bought one, something took me off track back then. Thanks for the reminder and good luck with yours! I sure hope Alberta doesn’t go as crazy as Ontario because where else could a person go in this country? Mountains are close by at least. |

I'm in Ontario... here because I prayed about it and was guided here. If nothing changes, looks like I'll be hunkering down for the winter. I just saw some shots of western Alberta today... beautiful. See vid for details. Because if you do, wrap it in a bubble greenhouse, and you're be warm and growing good food. And I suggest some ginger, curcumin, black pepper plants and even some a nice cocoa tree. Quoting: Sungaze_At_Dawn Hey Sungaze!!! Got a job, I’m ok now lol. I’m pulling my camper to Saskatoon where my daughter lives and leaving it at her place, she has lots of room because she’s on acreage. Then I’m staying with my cousin who lives in Edmonton till I find a place and I’ll stay at the mine camp while working up north. It all worked out great! My kids are only 5 hours away now :) Awesome! |

If we ever left the province, Camrose would be my choice. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Rage Rage against the dying light! |

Alberta people I know think just like Montana people. We have great disdain for the government generally! Quoting: bigD111 I am sure we have had this conversation before. I went to high school in Kalispell, and lived in Marion. Fun Times. (Things were a lot less complicated back then) Not sure, but I had fun in Marion when I was in my early 20's. Went to see a friend who was logging up there, and I went to the bar and some gal from Canada proposed that I marry her so she could become a US citizen! It was a blast! deplorably republican |

We have four kids and we’re considering moving for the school year to start but most of the province has school mask mandates again. My poor little bugs have been home Since March 2019. Might still do it, the lower house prices alone make it enticing. Could see here, buy a similar house and probably two rentals with our equity. Good luck to you and congrats on making a big move. Everyone says it’s better out there. Onterrible is pretty hard to take at the moment |
