I went hard looking for a job, sent out more then 30 resumes out west and landed a job. Btw, I got 2 other offers for work afterwards, but I’m happy with what I found, so there’s jobs out there you guys!

Destination Edmonton is where I’m going, and I fly into a mine up north when I work, I’m doing the same work I did before in Ontario. If your miserable under Ford, I hope this gives you inspiration. Will Alberta go to crap? Maybe, but I asked about the vaxx right away since I’m flying to a mine to work and it’s not required...yet.

I think you're really going to like the area. It's beautiful! I'm in the Seattle area and would love to move to Idaho or Montana to get away from the lib infestation. You picked a great area (even if it does get COLD in winter...) with tons of fun stuff to do.

AB is going wonky again but to a lesser extent and 'wobbling'. You always struck me as a Prairie woman in your writing, didn't know you were from ON. Hopefully you found a nice crossbow! It was you asking I think. Mine's shipping this week. Good luck in your new job. Edmonton is a fairly fun city.

Hey Sungaze!!! Got a job, I’m ok now lol. I’m pulling my camper to Saskatoon where my daughter lives and leaving it at her place, she has lots of room because she’s on acreage. Then I’m staying with my cousin who lives in Edmonton till I find a place and I’ll stay at the mine camp while working up north. It all worked out great!

My kids are only 5 hours away now :)

I am sure we have had this conversation before. I went to high school in Kalispell, and lived in Marion. Fun Times. (Things were a lot less complicated back then)

I live in Montana and there is more freedom in the west. Alberta people I know think just like Montana people. We have great disdain for the government generally!

Been eyeing Saskatchewan, it's a bit cheaper and significantly less people then Ontario!

Ya, well I don’t think Albertans will fall for it like Ontario did, most line up here with excitement!
