This actually freaked me out, let me explain.

I was out of the country (USA) for almost all of the 80s. I remember the hokey commercials of the 70s, but these commercials really are beyond what I remember. I see them all for what they are now. Look, I saw a new tiny truck while I was away and came back, and I swear I thought it said 'HiunDry' and it was really Hyandai. I noticed the incredible amount of billboards on the road and how it increased exponentially that decade I left. This happened long before I realized! I didn't understand what 'where's the beef' meant. I didn't really get any 80s hair bands.
