Yes. I'm glad I stayed single last 10 years and bought preps every year. Lil of this and that adds up. got over 100k and afew years of food and random stuff . Rural iowa. Everything paid for i'm 36 with 2 kids that i have full custody over. Mother is mia. No car payment. Just food and electricity and property tax. On four acres. last month bought an incubator for eggs. just hatched 20. Ill put in 40 more tonight. Got afew big garden plots and a nice chicken coup. A creek across the road and a bunch of water filters. I need to buy more replacement filters just in case. We have a well but if no power no well. Got a decent amount of hunting and fishing stuff. Not a crazy amount like some folks around my way. Just randomly bought shells every now and again over the years. I got my little music studio at home and a weight room I don't need to leave my house for much. Just filled the propane tank used only for cooking and it lasted over 15 years the last time it was filled. I'm better off than most. Not rich but if need be ill lock the gate ride it out. 8 miles to the nearest town and its a small one street light town. I was going to take a job . I put off my start date by a month cause i'm adding a two bedrooms and an extra bathroom. But i worked with the company safety guy before and asked him tonight if they will require it. He said not now but it ain't to far off. I ain't taking it. I can take the job and soak up the easy money. Guaranteed 40 a week sitting at home. But i fly to the jobs. Who knows when that stops or when they require the shot. I read the contract. Either of us can cancel at anytime. I can suck up the money til they let me go. I still do the same job. Just for many companies instead of signing on to just that one. I can weld very well and lay brick and do concrete. Also I speak Chinese half ass well. I saw a help wanted sign at the Chinese restaurant i asked her if i can work. Joked around just to practice my chinese but.... i'm halfway serious i don't mind doing a mindless job. Keep a low profile evade the shot and do some side work around the house. Wont be 35 an hour but I don't need much . just enough to not burn up all my savings and preps.Tomorrow i'm going to buy all the material to finish the additions to house. Even going to add a green house attached to the house. has concrete and roof already. just need the walls and i already have the glass. 15 years ago gave the forklift driver a case of beer to load all this glass from a hospital job. Thank god i'm not in Phoenix anymore. I like my quiet country life. My great grandparents were raised in the Great Depression. Our four acres is the last of their land owned by anyone in the family. If they made it so can we.

If my job tries to mandate the vax I’m prepared to quit if need be. My wife took the vax and has drank the kook aid and she will no doubt want me to comply. I’ll leave her too if I need to.

I live under my means, but still have a mortgage and bills. Unmarried, no kids. Technically I can get by for a few years without a job, but still ultimately wouldn't want to end up being a 40 something yr old living with my parents because I could no longer pay the mortgage.

Maybe if NovaVax were available I would (?) Novavax is a subunit protein vaccine. It's protein based. Super safe, pretty much harmless.

But I am fuckin pissed off.
