Even in cars now, direct injection turbos per volume and weight can roast older cars. Now don't get me wrong, there is no substitute for classic American muscle but in terms of technology, engine tech advancements have always been and continue to be amazing. |

Good call out. They weren't rockets, those were the V-2's. The V-1 had a pulse jet engine. They were the original cruise missile. They were not easy to down. If you shot at them the warhead was big enough to take you out too. That's why they developed the tactic of "tipping" them. "Everybody lies." |
