was never what I'd call a fan but they had some good tunes and a real distinct sound. The best of the "Nu" crop. New album seems pretty good.

Morbid Angel is peak metal for me. I've probably seen the band about a dozen times over the years. Azagthoth/Sandoval/Rutan/Vincent lineup is legendary.

My interest has sort of waned with Pete's departure but they are still the kings of extreme metal, imo.

I used to get drunk and smoke weed. Then i would sit in my car and listen to this, it was awesome. Used to travel down a long tunnel with a low orange light in my visions.
