Anyone else revisiting Star Trek?

Been there.

I did it chronologically. Movies and shows minus most the Original Series episodes.

Although Discovery messed everything up chronologically, I'm caught up with all of the series including Lower Decks which, imho, is finally starting to get good.

Can't wait for Strange New Worlds.

Some of the movies are free on Utoob right now.

And yes OP, there's Paramount marketing going on.

New season of Discovery is about to start.

2nd season of Picard just finished production.

Strange New Worlds starting soon.

2nd season of Lower Decks currently running.

New nickelodeon Star Trek series starting soon.

Supposedly there's a new Kirk movie in the works also.

Just the usual mass subliminal messages to keep us glued to the screen, so we buy Tide laundry Detergent and Jif Peanut Butter.

Been watching them all since my time on this earth began.

Currently been catching up on Discovery.

A common theme is it depends on who the director is on how good or bad it is. Still love the original series.

Honestly I got tired of the spin offs ten years ago and there's a fine line between science fiction and fantasy..

Discovery was a little too woke for my tastes, but we'll probably try it again at some point.

TNG was my go to in my early teens. We just finished the 3rd season. It's still as good as it ever was.

Watching the production value of the movies through the years has been pretty cool though. Next on the list is the 5th one. Supposedly, it's the worst of them.

Favorite episode was Q and the Borg.
We are living through a version of it.

Same exact here, even didn't watch original series.


I am in the middle of rewatching lower decks season 1 before I start the new season.

Yup wrapping up ds9, now they want more money!!

I liked TNG alot. I love how awkward Picard is in doing anything else beside being captain. My fav episode was the one where he lived a whole nother life in 20min, then he got that cool flute. Was almost in tears!

I actually like enterprise. If you look at it from the perspective that they didn't have the prime directive yet, it's pretty good.

Deep Space Nine is AWESOME!

Picard is the best.

DS9 was great too.

I like how riker always grins at suggestive comments....he is an intergalactic poom slayer

It's on my list too. There's only so much time during the day, and I only watch TV with my lady.

Will pause everything when Yellowstone comes back on. Same with Ozark. Waiting for Walking dead season to finish, so we can binge during the winter. We used to do Rick and Morty, but we keep going back to TNG instead.

No I haven't very much....Scripts were good, just wish the it was a little more special effects\Sci-Fi professional and didn't feel like it was a PBS produced 1990's series.....

Well it was all done out of the casts' personal finances. So with that in mind, it's not that bad. Plus, they wanted to try and match the original series as best as they could. They even did a second part episode that was never finished on TOS.

Yea when Picard and Riker went to take out those parasites that took control of all the big wigs at Starfleet.

And don't forget those mantids called species 8742 that could take out the Borg. They are both commies.

I am watching ST Enterprise almost daily. Keeps me calm.
