Officials are saying 'It may be connected to a Mantel Plume'. Mantel Plume...hum? Go on... please... This thing is upgrading from itself from a regular needle to a horse syringe. Think of those pictures you studied of volcanoes, there was a spike of red on the bottom, followed by bubbles of reds above it. Right? The lava comes up tiny little cracks. The spike is the plume. It could easily be bigger than ALL the canary islands together. Very well explained..thank you!   |

I'm sure they work in-house with each other at the technical/research level (I know they do). But more real-time and historical products for the public would be very helpful. Like one Planetary Geophysics website. Part would be dedicated to past, current and planned research, part to real-time monitoring, and part to public questions and interactions. Also, a section for at-home, online learning. Earth Science 101, Practical Geology 201, et. al. Akin to Nick Zentner's Geology Series: Except all at one, free site. If I was a Bezos or Musk, this is where I'd put my charity money. |
