In the next orbit the ISS will pass almost directly over the islands. Perhaps their live camera will capture the eruption?

3:15 why?!? It will be there very soon. I just hope that it will be full daylight and therefore the ISS is pointing the camera at Earth because, apparently, they point it at space when they are orbiting over nighttime

orbit takes 93 minutes, when pic taken (2:30 EDT) ISS was over Australia so i guestimated about half an orbit or 45 minutes to reach La Palma or 3:15sh EDT

This is a link to the so2 filter on a map of the world's air currents.
There is a huge cloud sitting just north of the Canary Islands. But it's not so good at the Islands either, and that extends right across africa.

Where was the first vent located? Curious... are these vents opening up as if vents are traveling one way or another? Might be a dumb question, I don’t know... but something tells me that the real problem could possibly be in the northern part of the island. But then again, I don’t know much about volcanoes or this island.
