I don’t thing so but Geeze. This thing is full of movement.

Was wondering if that was the new vent. Look like it formed directly in the path of a lava stream. It's puddling on the top.

Which makes me wonder, if you have that much lava coming out of the main cone hundreds of meters high... and now this teensy one is opening at "flat" ground level... Could all the lava from main cone now be redirecting & pushing to the lower, easier to access open vent? That would really be nasty.

Or - if they both maintain equal pressure & outflow, then we can determine the lava is not coming up from 1 spot/crack. There will be countless vents until it stops...the land is fracturing apart underneath & its starting to seep up from everywhere at once.

I'm watchin that one too.. is there sound on that besides the dog barking in the background or is she just really quiet right now?

I personally who like to see evacuations start removing all residents from the Island ASAP.

Maybe this new uptick in activity will cause some to do it personally.

Totally agree. The mountain is melting just like the thread says in that 6 hours till impact thread. I’m thinking when they say the melt begins they are referring to this. And by impact they mean impact this will have.

These earthquakes are precursory to a much lager eruption. It is island building eruption, but if it accidentally blows that flank off then it will be another Krakatoa.

It’s a ton of pressure if it needs this many vents and is still going super strong.

I see it as pretty strong evidence that the situation is deteriorating.

That the Cumbre Vieja Ridge Magma Chamber is getting fed by a Mantle Plume was one of the theories floating around.,.

And EQ's keep on coming.

Does not bode well for locals who for sure cannot wait for Eruption to seize.

Three days late I'm allowed to comment. Was perfect devils tail leading to the cracks of doom upside down glowing triangle, like, umm, like they seen one once and this ones done freaking a mirror image perfect copy; cause wtf ain't no time machine prophetic claims to it. Was like I said; when he shot his own nut off he ended up with his ahold reversed and a giant devils tail.

If La Palma is indeed sitting atop a Super Plume , I think we will see the unzipping of the south ridge!

First time I ever saw models depicting LLSVPs, I was amazed by how asymmetric and freakishly weird they looked.

Everytime I check the live feed its even bigger and shooting out more lava than before...geez...

I dont expect it soon, instead i believe it has just started.
