It was updating just fine daily with the F5 and now stopped.

The only thing I see wrong with the "useless chatter" - and I've engaged in it, too! - is that when you cannot come on board all day, every day, and go to check in, you've got to wade through sometimes many, many pages of useless CAT PICS or recipes, or ARGUMENTS about said items, to get to anything new or pertinent.

I get a little annoyed at it sometimes, so I get it - if someone is "sensitive" and cannot tolerate a few small distractions. It is hard to find enough time to get caught up if there are too many cutsie things to fly past....you can't just skip pages, in fear you'll miss something really important.

ETA: DON'T suggest I "start at the end and work backward to find the important stuff...." as that strikes me as odd. I don't read a book from the back to the front, and by the time I've worked backward, I might as well have NOT read anything "back" at all, as I've read all the new news!

So that's not an answer. Honestly, I don't know that there is an answer. Some folks LIKE "cutsie," some don't.
