- The air quality is good across La Palma

- There is optimism La Palma airport will be able to operate on Saturday

- The new lava flow emanating from the fissure that opened on Thursday has now “almost stopped”

- Seismic activity on the island is lower than in previous weeks

There always seems to be a lot of folks watching at that church BCB always goes to. I assume they are tourists. I don't think the locals would be up there filming the volcano.

I searched for rainfall on La Palma, but couldn't really find anything. This is all I could find about the weather.

"Heavy rain is forecast over La Palma, Canary Islands, through at least Dec. 1. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued yellow (the lowest level on a three-tier scale) heavy rainfall warnings across eastern La Palma Nov. 26 and the whole island Nov. 27. Authorities warn that the ash deposits could channel the rain into concentrated flows, especially in areas of high runoff. Officials advise residents to avoid traveling in riverbeds or at the foot of steep slopes and not stand on unstable slopes due to the increased risk of landslides during heavy rain."
