This is the only post I am going to make about this particular subject, but:

VQC is a sovereign, grown individual capable and resourceful enough to have found himself on La Palma during all this, right as it started happening.

I care about the dude and I wish him well, but I am not egotistical enough to think that anything that I do, especially not knowing him in any sort of personal way, could "save his life". It comes down to him and his relationship with God. I learned a long time ago not to assert my will where it doesn't belong because I always made things worse when my will diverged from God's Will.

Not going to sit here and say God is going to save him, but if he truly is to the point of ending it, ain't a damn thing anyone here is going to do to help him in any way, and if somehow you manage to get officials to detain him as a suicide risk would you really be helping him?

Both of you have a point, except that if he does mean to harm himself, the intervention might save his life. So on the one hand you perhaps offend him by "stalking" or butting in, but on the other you save his life. He put out the video, so this is to be expected and he's not in any place to object to the intervention. If he didn't want the attention, he shouldn't have put out the video. Lots of times people contemplating ending it make a last cry for attention, and if they don't get it, then they go through with it.

Where is the new fissure twitter said opened in El Paso? It would be closer to the ones we are seeing now. I didn't see anything in the twitter video either.
