USGS not reporting is just like willful blindness. I didn’t see it coming. Possible deniability? Either way another failed governmental agency.
Quoting: Warlord of Barsoom USGS only lists smaller EQ's for US and this side of the globe. If there is a mag over 4.5 (I think that's the threshold) say in Italy they will show/list it. If you want to see what is going on in Europe and that side of the globe as far as smaller EQ's go then you have go the EMSC site. USGS is not hiding anything. If they were to put all the small quakes around the world it would be too data. The task of global EQ monitoring is shared.
