How big of a tsunami? How far inland on the east coast?
Quoting: Irredeemable i've read that it will take nine hours to reach the east coast and that it will be the largest loss of life in history with 65M dead. There would be no way to evacuate as soon as the panic starts. Now would be the best time to leave. That is impractical for most people. Unless you live ocean-side, I would suggest making preparations and really keeping an eye out. Set notifications, check this thread & resources in it, be aware. Have a plan of where you can go and be ready before it's even announced. Edit: *Do not* await official instructions as they may not come!
