agreed and the more magma filling that chamber the bigger the chance for a seriously explosive eruption is that right?
Quoting: Disenfranchised Godzilla1980 Yes that's right.And also quakes create more fractures in the Island of La Palma is that kinda like the Chernobyl second explosion theory where the "lava" hitting water would cause the thermal explosion because of the instant super heating? The problem is with deformation ,the terrain inflates .Imagine something pushing the terrain upward and being hot mass.If lava mixes with water then we have very serious eruption .But deformation itself can cause troubles sliding the part of island to the water so if it where to slide like Mt St Helens would that cause a significant tsunami or we talking about a landslide that would make that pale in comparison?
